Winners from this state pageant will advance to compete at the 2020 Miss United States Agriculture Pageant in Orlando, Florida where they will represent the state of Iowa.

Age Divisions:
(Contestants MUST register base on their age as of January 1, 2020. NO EXCEPTIONS!)

Future Little Miss 4-6
Little Miss 7-9
Junior Miss 10-12
Teen Miss 13-16
Miss 17-21
Ms. 22-35 (Unmarried)
Mrs. 22-35 (Married)
Elite Ms 36 and up

Areas of Competition

Required Areas of Competition:

Introduction — The introduction portion of the competition is for Little Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, Ms, Mrs and Elite Ms Contestants only. We want our Miss United States Agriculture Queens to be well spoken and feel comfortable speaking in front of a crowd. This is your opportunity to tell the judges about your state and its agricultural base! Attire for this area of competition is solid white bottoms with your Miss United States Agriculture Tee-Shirt that you will pick up at check-in. Bottoms can be shorts, pants, skirt or capris. Bottoms MUST BE SOLID WHITE. You can wear a belt if you choose and shoe color is of your choosing.
Tiny & Future Little Miss do not compete in INTRODUCTION.

Formal Wear — For the formal wear competition Tiny Miss & Future Little Miss contestants will need a short pageant dress. Little Miss contestants have the choice of either a short or long pageant dress. All other contestants will need a floor length gown.

On-Stage Question– Little Miss-Elite will draw a question from a bowl on stage and respond with a 45 minute answer. The questions can be related to the agricultural field or life!

OPTIONALS

Interview – Little Miss through Elite Ms contestants have the option to compete in interview –Interview is a one on one session with the judges! Questions will be age appropriate. Dress will be the same as the on stage Introduction. The Miss United States Agriculture Tee Shirt and white bottoms. You can wear a belt if you choose and shoe color is of your choosing.

Essay & Queen Resume– if you choose to participate in the Essay and Queen Resume then you will bring them to Check-in. The Essay topic will be announced October 1, 2019. The queen resume includes everywhere the queens have visted in crown and sash. An example will be provided after entry.

Photogenic— If you choose to participate in photogenic as an optional you may submit up to 3 photos at $15 each. Photos must be 8×10 and can be in color or black and white. All photos should be turned in at check in! Please do not bring them in any type of cover. We will place them in a clear sheet protector with your age division and contestants number at check in.

State Fun Fashion — During this “fun fashion” the emcee will be reading a brief intro about YOUR state that you have provided! (the state you are representing at Nationals) Incorporate that into your FUN FASHION!

REQUIRED SPONSORSHIP AD PAGE

Queens are required to sell a 1/2 page Sponsorship in our State Program Book. This 1/2 page sponsorship is due November 1, 2019. (it does not have to be paid at the time you register to represent your county. So you CAN register and wait for your crown and sash to come in and THEN go out and ask a local business to sponsor your ad if you choose)

This 1/2 page sponsorship covers:

  • 1/2 page ad in the Program Book
  • 1 Program Book
  • 1 Door Admission to the Pageant (for your parent chaperon or guest)
  • State Fun Fashion Entry
  • Essay & Queen Resume Entry
  • 1 Photogenic Photo Entry
  • 1 Miss United States Agriculture T-Shirt

Winners will receive:

All Winners will receive their beautiful Kansas Miss United States Agriculture sash and beautiful rhinestone sash pin, Official Miss United States Agriculture State crown and a prize package from our sponsors.
