In 2020 NEWLY appointed Queens are appointed by state and regions.

The first contestant to register is appointed the state title, the next three will be appointed regional titles and then registration will be closed for that state.

State Pageants are being held for Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska so at large entries are not being accepted for 2020 Nationals from these states at this time.

The following states will have Northern, Central, and Southern Regions:

Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The following states will have Eastern, Central, and Western Regions:

Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming.

Areas of Competition

Required Areas of Competition:

Introduction — The introduction portion of the competition is for Little Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, Ms, Mrs & Elite Ms contestants only. We want our Miss United States Agriculture Queens to be well spoken and feel comfortable speaking in front of a crowd. This is your opportunity to tell the judges about your state and its agricultural base! Attire for this area of competition is solid white bottoms with your Miss United States Agriculture TShirt that you will pick up at check-in. Bottoms can be shorts, pants, skirt or capris. Bottoms MUST BE SOLID WHITE. You can wear a belt if you choose and shoe color is of your choosing.

Tiny & Future Little Miss do not compete in INTRODUCTION.

Formal Wear — For the formalwear competition Tiny Miss & Future Little Miss contestants will need a short pageant dress. Little Miss contestants have the choice of either a short or long pageant dress. Junior Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, Ms., & Elite Ms. contestants will need a floor length gown.

On Stage Question — The Little Miss through Elite Ms. Division will have an onstage question. Each contestant will pull their question from a bowl. Each question will be different. Questions will be age appropriate and not political or controversial in nature.

OPTIONALS
Interview – Little Miss – Elite Ms. –Interview is a one on one session with the judges! Questions will be age appropriate. Dress will be the same as the on stage Introduction. The Miss United States Agriculture Tee-Shirt and white bottoms. You can wear a belt if you choose and shoe color is of your choosing.

Photogenic— If you choose to participate in photogenic as an optional you may submit up to 4 ADDITIONAL photos (total of FIVE Photos) at  Photos must be 8×10 and can be in color or black and white. All photos should be turned in at check in! Please do not bring them in any type of cover. We will place them in a clear sheet protector with your age division and contestants number at check in. Photogenic entry fee: $50

State Fun Fashion — During this “fun fashion” the emcee will be reading a brief intro about YOUR state that you have provided! (the state you are representing at Nationals) Incorporate that into your FUN FASHION!

REQUIRED SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

Tiny Miss – Future Little Miss – Little Miss & Junior Miss Queens are required to sell a 1/2 page Sponsorship in our National Program Book. Ad page is due by no later than May 1st, 2020. Sponsorship Includes:

1/2 Page ad in the Program Book
1 Program Book
1 Door Admission to the Pageant (for your parent chaperon or guest)
1 Miss United States Agriculture T-Shirt
1 Photogenic Entry
Interview Optional
State Fun Fashion

Each contestant is required to raise or donate a minimum of $100 to the Miss United States Agriculture National Scholarship Fund!

Winners will receive:

All Winners will receive their beautiful National Miss United States Agriculture sash and beautiful rhinestone sash pin, National Miss United States Agriculture crown, and a prize package from our sponsors.
